3:30 – 4:30pm “Graffiti Art Competition (To register, click above)”
Express your creativity on walls depicting famous landmarks in Singapore. Spread the message ‘It’s Cool to save lives. Give Blood.’ and stand to win attractive prizes!

4:00 – 4:30pm “Do You Want Him to Live?”
What would you do when faced with a dying patient in need of blood? Get into the act of blood donation and give the gift-of-life. Join our Blood Ambassadors, Eunice Olsen and Lionel Lewis and help him live.

4:30 – 5:00pm “Formation of the Human Blood Drop”
Be part of a group of life-savers to form the first Human Blood Drop in Singapore.

5:00 – 5:30pm “Nation Birthday Celebration”
Come celebrate our nation’s 40th birthday with fellow life-savers and be part of the nation’s life source. Donors born in August shall be special guests.

5:30 – 7:30pm “Jam Sessions”
Live performances from various youth groups will show you “If you have a healthy body and a caring heart, you can be a blood donor”.

Paint the town Red – 13 August 2005

6 teams particpated in the Graffiti Art Competition. The activity “Do you want him to live” was kicked off by Ms Eunice Olsen with a group of youths. About 200 youths participated in the formation of the human blood drop. An outline of the blood drop was formed and an aerial photo shoot was taken. The youths celebrated the nation’s birthday with cupcakes laid in the shape of a blood drop. Ms Eunice Olsen was invited to present the top 3 prizes to the winners. A group photo was taken comprising of our blood ambassador, the judges for the competition and the top 3 winners. The event ended with various youth jam bands performing through the night.
