The Health Sciences Authority (HSA) would like to assure the public that it has been undertaking all necessary measures to protect the safety of the national blood supply in relationship to the local dengue infection situation, and in view of the recent media reports arising from the incident of dengue virus transmission via donated blood which was collected at the autonomous National University Hospital (NUH) blood donation centre.
